FAQ

Offers differ by the methods of calculating reward for Webmasters (fix, percentage, revshare), by the conversion action that the Client should perform (filling out an application, purchase, registration, making a deposit, subscribing), by countries from which traffic is accepted, by allowed traffic sources, by verticals (categories) to which the offers belong to and by other parameters.

Offer is an Advertiser’s offer posted on the AP website. This is an offer to Webmasters to direct traffic to a product / work / service for reward.

Webmaster (arbitrageur, media buyer) is usually an individual who directs traffic to sites selling goods / works / services on the Internet. The Webmaster buys traffic from major traffic sources and sells it to Advertisers. Webmaster receives a reward (commission) from the Affiliate Program for each conversion action of a potential client. For this the Webmaster registers in the Affiliate Program.

Conversion - this is the target action of a potential customer for which the affiliate program pays reward to the Webmaster (for example, filling out and submitting a form for purchasing goods on the website).

These are generally accepted indicators for assessing the effectiveness of traffic management:

- ROI - (return on investment). Measured in percent. Indicates the percentage of return on investment. This is a fraction where in the numerator there is profit, and in the denominator all the costs of generating traffic,

- Profit is the profit from investments in traffic generation. In the CPA community, this term is often understood not as profit, but as margin - that is, in general terms, the difference between the direct costs of generating (buying) traffic and the revenue from its sale. We can say that for the Webmaster, Profit is the difference between the payout from the affiliate program for all conversions (for example, 28) and the payment to the traffic source (for example, Facebook) for all the clicks that led to these 28 conversions. Such clicks could be needed, for example, 154. Then Profit (in fact, Margin) = Reward for 28 conversions - Cost of buying 154 clicks,,

- CR (conversion rate - conversion percentage) - in general terms, this is the proportion of potential customers who have completed the conversion action on the site of all potential customers who switched to it. Measured in percent,

- EPC (earnings per click) - this is the amount of money earned by a person who generates traffic on each click of a potential client (on each transition to the target site).

Approve is the share of applications (leads) approved by the Affiliate Program of the total number of applications. Measured in percent. It is within this share that AP is ready to pay a payout to Webmaster.

A Category is a conditional grouping of offers by areas of life or sectors of the economy. For example, the vertical gambling or the vertical eCommerce - any tangible goods. With a significant degree of conventionality, it is generally accepted that in affiliate marketing there are more than 10 different categories (dating, betting, sweepstakes, finances, etc.).

An Affiliate Program (AP, platform) buys traffic from Webmasters (arbitrageurs) and sells it to Advertisers by placing the Advertiser’s offer on its Internet platform.

An Advertiser - a person who sells (promotes) goods / works / services. A Webmaster (arbitrageur) is a person who directs traffic (potential customers) to sites on the Network where goods / works / services specified in the Advertiser’s offer on AP are sold. Webmasters usually purchase traffic from major traffic sources such as Facebook, Google, Yandex, etc. by launching advertising campaigns there.

Landing page is usually a one-page site designed to sell goods / works / services by filling out a potential client and submitting an order form on it. Other variants of conversion actions are possible as well.

Pre-landing page (the site that precedes the Landing Page) is usually a one-page site that is used to convince a potential client that the problem that a specific product (sold on the Landing page) is designed to solve is really serious and can be solved using the goods offered on the Landing page. The pre-landing page and its content (for example, research by scientists) kind of "warms up" the client to buy the product presented on the Landing page. Pre-landing is located between the traffic source and the Landing page (or other target site). Not every offer requires a Pre-landing page. Pre-landing can be located on the platform (in the same place as the Landing page), or outside the platform; in this case, the Webmaster must ensure that hyperlinks are provided from the Pre-Landing page to the Landing Page.

Fraud is motivated (purposefully and usually machine-generated) traffic sent by Webmasters in order to receive rewards from an Affiliate program for a large number of applications (leads). It is a form of cheating. When a fraud is detected, the AP blocks such Webmasters forever and do not pay for such traffic. Recently, this kind of fraud on the part of the Webmasters makes no sense, since the AP (in response to the fraud) began to pay a reward not for leads, but for real purchases of goods / works / services.

Lead is a potential customer’s application on a target site. With this application, the client expresses a desire to buy a product / work / service. This application is registered by the AP. Further, depending on the conditions of the offer, it is either confirmed by the Advertiser and the Webmaster receives his reward or not.

Tags help you better filter the offers on the “Offers” page in the Webmaster's cabinet, and also to better understand what the offer is aimed at by the offer card on the "Offers" page.

For example, you want to lead traffic to Microloans. But the microloan vertical does not exist. This offer will belong to the Finance vertical. But the Finance vertical is very big. If you select this vertical in the filter on the “Offers” page and click Apply, the system will display all the offers of the vertical. You will have to scroll down with the mouse for too long to understand which offer from the presented ones matches your desire to filter only microloan offers.

Therefore, you can simply select the Microloans tag in the Filter tags field on the “Offers” page and you will receive only offers dedicated to microloans.

Advertiser - traffic buyer. An advertiser buys traffic to sell goods / work / services. An advertiser buys traffic from an Affiliate program, which most likely (but not necessarily) bought this traffic from Webmasters earlier. An advertiser buys traffic by paying for conversion activities of potential customers. Conversion actions take place on sites on the Web and are registered by the Affiliate Program.

You can create a campaign link from Webmaster’s cabinet from the page of a specific offer by clicking the “Create campaign” button.

See the manual about how to Create a campaign.

Trafficback is a technique that is aimed at avoiding losing traffic that comes to the target resource, but does not meet the conditions of the offer (for example, wrong country).

To configure trafficback, it is enough to indicate the URL of the site where this "wrong" traffic should be directed to.

Trafficback is configured on the campaign creation page.

See the manual for configuring traffic back.

Cloaca is a software technique that is aimed at deceiving bots and moderators of some traffic sources that are too strict not only for the content of advertising campaigns at the traffic source itself, but also for the content of target sites where reference links from sources lead traffic.

Therefore, Webmasters have to replace the target site (usually landing page) with another site that meets the requirements of the traffic source to sites linked to by advertising campaigns if it is known that the target site is being tried not by a potential client, but by a bot or moderator of the source traffic to check it.

To configure cloaca you should use a tracker (TDS solution, for example, Keitaro).

The tracker leads ordinary users to the true website, and bots and moderators of traffic sources - to the website, adapted to their requirements.

See the manual for configuring cloaca.

Postback is a technique that aims to get information about events occurring with Webmaster's traffic in a convenient form and in one place.

To configure a postback, you need a tracker - a TDS solution (Traffic Distribution System), for example, Keitaro or CPA Tracker.

The essence of this software technique is that a tracker is installed between the traffic source and the AP; thus, the traffic "enters" the tracker, receives a unique ID and is redirected to the AP. When events that are significant for the Webmaster occur with this traffic (for example, conversion), the AP “informs” the tracker about them. Thus, Webmaster can combine on one tracker all information about its traffic from different affiliates, offers, advertising campaigns and configure other parameters for working with traffic and reporting on it. Many trackers also have advanced functionality - for example, the "cloaca" configuring.

See the postback configuring manual.

First, let's explain in general once again:

This is an Affiliate Platform(platform, CPA platform, AP). It unites on one (this) site, the core of which is a traffic registration system, Advertisers and Webmasters. The AP puts the offers of the Advertisers on this site (this is called an "offer"). The essence of the offer is that the Webmaster receives a financial reward for the conversion action of the potential client he brings on the target site, subject to the conditions of the offer (traffic source, country of traffic origin, etc.). Webmasters direct traffic (i.e. potential users) from any concentration of the target audience on the Internet, which, presumably, will be interested in this offer, to landing pages (usually this is a specially created landing page, but it can also be directed to a page on the Advertiser's website). To work on the platform, both the Webmaster and the Advertiser must register and thereby acquire cabinets.

Now it's technically:

The webmaster visits the page of a specific offer from the page All offers on the platform in order to create there a unique campaign link (create a campaign) like "http://address of the target site?unique campaign parameters" and then place it in an advertising campaign on a traffic source. When a potential customer clicks on a link, he goes to the target site, where he performs (if he wants) a conversion (target) action (usually, fills out the product order form and clicks the "Order" button - this is called "Lead"). The information that he entered "flies" to the platform for registering this action and related actions (for example, the very transition to the target page), as well as the Advertiser. If then this Lead turns into a "Conversion" (for example, the purchase of a product ordered on the target page), information about this "flies" from the Advertiser to the AP. Since the campaign link is unique, the AP "understands" that this conversion belongs to a specific Lead, which belongs to a specific campaign link (this link was followed by a potential client from the traffic source to the target page where the Lead occurred), which was created by a specific Webmaster inside a specific offer on the platform, and then the AP pays the Webmaster a reward for this conversion, which he can withdraw (for example, to a Qiwi wallet). That's all in general.

In addition, for a successful generation of traffic you not only need to know the target audience well, but also to master a set of software tools, such as a tracker, for example. More on this below in the FAQ. And also, master the basics of HTML, CSS, JS and PHP. And also, be familiar with the concepts of Domain, Hosting, VDS, etc.

We also recommend that you read the General Questions, Financial and other Technical Questions section of the FAQ for a better understanding. In addition, check out the Manuals (including the manual for creating a campaign link) and Cases from the "MORE" menu on the main page.

Domain parking is a technique aimed at replacing the platform domain (on which a particular target site is located) with any Webmaster's domain. Thus, Webmaster stops using the platform's native domain to generate a campaign link.

This need arose for Webmasters when some traffic sources began to form "black lists" of those domains that were involved in advertising "gray" goods.

To park a domain, the Webmaster must first purchase a domain at any domain registrar, and also change the DNS zone management settings on the website of this registrar.

Domain parking is performed on the Domain parking page in the Tools menu of the Webmaster's cabinet.

After parking, Webmaster will be able to select the parked domain on the campaign creation page from the drop-down list.

See the manual on Domain Parking.

While in your cabinet, you need to click the down arrow to the right of your main currency; in the pop-up window, click the "TAKE MINE" button and fill out the request. Before generating payout request, you need to add payment method in the Profile settings of your cabinet.

There are several withdrawal methods available for Webmasters: bank account, Webmoney, E-payments, Capitalist, Yandex Money, Qiwi wallet, etc.

The status of your requests for payouts can be viewed on the page "Payout requests" in the Finance menu in your cabinet.

Payouts are possible in three currencies: Russian roubles, US dollars and Euro. Along with this, payouts are made in the offer's currency.

The Payout is paid to Webmaster by an Affiliate program for each conversion action approved by the Advertiser (for example, for an approved lead).

The Payout to the Webmaster occurs when the Advertiser approves the conversion action of the potential customer on the target resource.

Yes, it is possible. To do this, you need to become a “trusted webmaster”, i.e. generate traffic in a certain quantity and high quality (without fraud). For specific conditions on how to become a trusted webmaster, contact your account manager.

Hold is the period of time that we need to check the Webmaster's traffic for fraud. After verification, we either add or do not add reward.

The duration of the hold may vary from offer to offer. This information is always indicated on the offer page.

The minimally allowed payouts are:

- $ 20,

- 20 Euro,

- 1000 rubles of the Russian Federation.

Our platform lays out offers (Advertisers' offers), which indicate the conditions for buying traffic from Webmasters. Webmasters direct traffic on the terms specified in these offers to target websites and receive a reward for each conversion action approved by the Advertiser.
